![]() ![]() I'll work my Shadow Clone in if I can't wait for my energy to regen or cooldowns to end (like during boss fights). The shadow imbued enemies explode on death and spread the imbuement to other enemies so I do fairly good at clearing out mobs. Generally what I do is stealth into the middle of a mob, cast my imbuement to infect them with shadow, then throw caltrops to make the mob vulnerable/freeze & stun them/flip away, and then just spam rapid fire until my cooldowns end (or I run out of energy, at which point I curse out the generator/spender system lol) before rinsing/repeating. I've got a few aspects but the main ones I take advantage of are the cause an explosion when you use an imbuement skill, stun grenades when exiting stealth, stun grenades with caltrops, and the one that has a chance to cause a rain of arrows when I use a marksman skill. ![]() As far as passives I mainly focused on ones that increase damage to vulnerable enemies and energy regen. Interesting, here's how I have my Rogue setup: Heartseeker (Primary), Rapid Fire (Improved), Caltrops (Methodical), Concealment (Countering), Shadow Imbuement (Blended), and Shadow Clone (Supreme). I do have to say that laying out all available Poison Traps and caltrops at the feet of a med-bad while they are monologuing, and watching their health drop like a stone as soon as they tick over into being a viable target is hilarious, though. I'm not saying anybody should go for that build, but it works nicely for me. Between that and the Items doing Regen and Thorns, and the Aspect of the Protector, I'm quite a tanky Rogue. I haven't picked an Ultimate or an Imbuement yet, but I've got the Passive that makes vulnerable targets explode. ![]() I'm currently having fun with my level 40 Rogue with Poison Traps, Caltrops, Invigorating Strike, Flurry (with the Circling Blades Aspect), Forceful Arrow (with the strikedown upgrade) and Rapid Fire. That said, I'd be interested in seeing how close to any of the meta builds my characters get. Most meta builds only work for a certain playstyle, and mine is often not that style. ![]() I had the same in City of Heroes/Villains: "What kind of an Ice Tank doesn't take ?". I don't like people telling me I'm playing a game wrong because I let my characters grow organically. ![]()
